Back on the blog! Today I'm offering you a new savory recipe: a sweet potato, leek, and fresh goat cheese pizza (based on tomato sauce).
At home, we've gotten into the habit of making pizzas on the weekends. The little pleasure is choosing from our favorite toppings to create the pizza we like.
For this recipe, I started with a base of finely chopped sweet potato, accompanied by slightly melted leeks and fresh goat cheese. It is also possible to add a "carnivorous" touch with smoked bacon for example. The sweet potato brings a rather original sweet side here.
The dough is neither too thin nor too thick (at least that's how I personally like to eat it). You just have to be careful to stretch it well when giving it its round shape. The hardest part in the end? Waiting while the pizza dough rises slowly in its bowl ;) Otherwise, apart from that, nothing complicated!

- 225 g pizza flour
- 125 ml lukewarm water
- 5 g dry baker's yeast
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 this salt
- +
- 15 cl tomato sauce
- 1 leek white Large size
- 1 cc mustard
- 2 medium sweet potato
- 80 g fresh goat
- Olive oil
- Oregano
- Salt Pepper
- Prepare the pizza dough: by hand or with a dough hook robot, mix the flour, water, baking powder, oil, salt and knead until you obtain a rather elastic and homogeneous dough. Cover the container with a tea towel and place in a warm place so that it rises for about 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Prepare the garnish: cut the sweet potato into thin slices and thinly slice the leeks. In a hot pan, pour a drizzle of olive oil and brown the leek for a few minutes first, adding the mustard at the end. Set the leeks aside. Then, brown the sweet potato in the same pan, salt and pepper. The washers should become tender.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured work surface, giving it a round shape. Let it rise in a tea towel for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish with tomato sauce then add oregano.
- Arrange the sweet potato slices, then the leeks, and finish with the crumbled fresh goat cheese.
- Bake for about 10/15 minutes at 200 ° rotating heat (to be monitored depending on your oven).
